‘Superstar’ pensions for Bank of England staff attacked by critics

Government adviser describes benefits given to employees as ‘mind boggling’

In a withering attack, government adviser Ros Altmann described benefits paid at Threadneedle Street as ‘mind boggling’ and the most generous she has seen in the UK.
